[EXPERIENCE] AIA K-POP Concert 2013 feat. BEAST, 4Minute & G.NA

Kuala Lumpur, 27 June 2013 – Three of the biggest Korean acts – BEAST, 4minute and G.NA from CUBE Entertainment performed at the AIA K-POP 2013 concert at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. Themed “Be real. Love it. Live it”, the event was the first ever concert sponsored by a life insurer in the country. The concert was attended by over 12,000 AIA Malaysia employees, customers, media & of course K-POP fans.

They performed for almost 2 hours, with a total of 27 songs that night. The organiser even prepared pink light sticks for each of the audiences so everyone would wave around the light sticks to make a wave of beautiful color throughout the concerts.

Yang Yoseob salah seorang member dari B2ST telah keluarkan album solo 'The First Collage'.

Album 'The First Collage' mengandungi 5 buah lagu termasukla "Look At Me Now“, “Caffeine“(title track), “Just Do As You Always Did“, “Even Then, I“, and “You Don’t Know“. Album ini telah dihasilkan oleh salah seorang member B2ST sendiri iaitu Yong Jun Hyung.

B2ST to stop all activities in November to work on new album

B2ST will be halting all of their activities in November for their new album.

Currently, the boys are in the middle of their Japanese tour which is visiting six cities in Japan. Their Japanese tour will conclude at the end of the month on October 30th at Zepp Diver City TOKYO and then the boys were scheduled to have a few promotions in Korea.

However, Cube Entertainment stated, “The members will be focusing on their album in November. They won’t have any schedules in November in order to produce a high quality album. The members are passionate about making a successful conclusion to the year on the Korean stage.”

The B2ST members are working on not only the music, but also the fashion and hairstyles they will have during the new album promotions.

Lee Kikwang, Recent update “Half-a-BEAST Selca”

 

Group BEAST’s member Lee Kikwang has revealed his recent situation.

Lee Kikwang wrote on twitter on the afternoon of the 10th, “Japan’s weather is good. And so, we took half-a-BEAST selca which has been awhile”, together with a picture.

In the revealed picture, Yang Yoseob, Yoon Doojoon and Lee Kikwang was smiling as they look into the camera. In particularly, Lee Kikwang who was wearing a pair of spectacles, had attracted attention with this rare image of his.

B2ST endorse sports brand HEAD

The sports brand HEAD released a CF of the boy band B2ST donning ‘HERO JACKETS‘ for the 2012 Fall / Winter season.

The jackets are nicknamed as the ‘B2ST Windbreakers’ by fans, and HEAD has sold more than 10,000 jackets after only a month and a half since its release. The HEAD CF features the B2ST members in a cartoon-like setting, showing off their characteristic charisma.

Kikwang was the main focus of the CF, and he showed off the various hero jackets and cool jump moves. HEAD said, “The new generation tends to be very passionate about the people that became heroes from their own passion. The boys of B2ST serve as the heroes of teenagers, and they are very talented with a friendly persona. Their image fits perfectly with the product concept of the HERO jacket.”

BEAST Son Dongwoon, Commemorates Hangul Day, “Will take the lead to protect it!”

Idol group BEAST Son Dongwoon has left a meaningful remark.

On the 9th, Son Dongwoon wrote on his twitter, “Today is Korean (Hangul) day! I will continue to protect our beautiful Korean language as a lot of people are watching us^^ Let’s love Korean everyone!”
Hangul day happens every year on the 9th of October.

On this day, the nation commemorates the official adoption of hangul by King Sejong the Great, and also a date to spread awareness for the language.

Son Dongwoon, as a member of Hallyu K-POP Stars, BEAST’s member, has expressed his hopes to  protect the language. Followed this, netizens commented, “They’re really the conceptual-dol BEAST”, “We will protect these beautiful Hangul”, “What Dongwoonie said is correct”, and many more responses.

BEAST has recently ended their 5th mini album, and will be starting their practice on the 12th for their Japan tour.

[Sports Hankooki] Goo Hara – Yong Junhyung, “It’s not a couple ring”… Just a present from Stylist!

” A token of gratitude has now become someone’s couple ring.”

As girl group Kara’s Goo Hara and group BEAST’s Yong JunHyung’s ‘Couple Ring’ rumors are spreading like wildfire, it was revealed that this wasn’t the truth. Goo Hara’s stylist wrote on her twitter on the afternoon of the 8th, “I gave a ring as a token of gratitude but now it seems to be (her) and someone else’s couple ring.”

She then followed by, “나랑 두 번째 커플링 하자고 줬는데”라며 “끼고 다닌 지도 한 달이 넘었구만!” [Unsure of trans]

On the afternoon today, various online community has uploaded proof pictures of ‘Yong JunHyung and Goo Hara’s couple ring’. In various broadcast captures as well as fantaken pictures, the two were seen wearing rings of the similar design. However, as it was revealed to be nothing but a mere coincidence, the issue has started to subside.

[City Daily] Goo Hara – Yong JunHyung couple rings? “Unique design”

Idol couple Goo Hara and Yong JunHyung’s couple rings have become a hot topic.

On the 6th of October, a post titled, “Recent Goo Hara (and) Yong JunHyung’s couple ring” surfaced on various online community, and they contained pictures of Kara’s Goo Hara as well as BEAST’s Yong Junhyung.

In the revealed picture, both of them were seen wearing the same ring during a recent departure at the airport. In both different pictures of them, Yong JunHyung and Goo Hara were seen wearing that particular ring continuously, and this raises the ‘couple ring’ suspicions further.

Unlike the usual couple rings, the unique design with a perforation between it has further attracted attention.

Junhyung, Yoseob, Kikwang and Dongwoon of B2ST participated in a photoshoot for the 87th issue of the fashion magazine High Cut.

For the upcoming Fall / Winter season, the boys dressed in nordic-patterned knits for the photoshoot, giving off a warm, winter-like feel while interacting naturally with the female models. The photoshoot was titled ‘It’s a Beautiful Night‘, and featured the boys and the models at the Platoon Kunsthalle in Seoul.

The issue hit news stands on October 4th, and also feature’s Psy's ever solo photoshoot.

[News Wave] Lee Kikwang leaves Win Win, Focuses on BEAST activities, “Win Win colleagues, Thank you~”

Lee Kikwang has stepped down as MC on ‘Win Win’.

BEAST’s Lee Kikwang had his last recording for KBS 2TV Win Win  on the 4th of October.

Due to busy activities, there were issues on planning a suitable schedule for him. After a long frustration, it was decided that he will be leaving Win Win.

On October 4th, Lee Kikwang wrote on his twitter, “Fans, thank you very much. Thanks very much for watching till the end. Because of everyone, I can live,” while expressing his grateful heart.

It then followed by, “During this time, thank you for everyone who loved Win Win. SeungWoo-hyungnim, JaeHoon-hyungnim, Sugeun-hyungnim as well as every production crew members, who always took good care of me as the maknae dongsaeng, thank you very much, and I love you. Thank you,” revealing his close relationship with Win Win colleagues.

Meanwhile, BEAST will be meeting fans as they start their ‘BEAST ZEPP TOUR 2012 We’ on October 10th in Sapporo.
